Each spring we bring in new yearling cattle from neighboring farms. We’ll grow the yearlings and finish them on our lush pastures over the course of the next year. This year’s group arrived a few days ago, and they are some excellent looking animals. Check them out.
Plus, we had a couple broody laying hens this spring, so we decided to try to hatch out some chicks naturally. It didn’t go quite as we had hoped, but we’re making the best of it. I’ll give you a peek at one mama hen with her group of fluffy chicks.
